The BBC (and ABC) must go

At about 7.30 tonight I grabbed a glass of red and put on the tv, I don't know why but I put on foxtel and went to the BBC. What was on?

President Assad of Syria that's what.

I watched until 7.50, the BBC broadcast a boring speech by the president of a meddling, oppressive, terrorist sponsoring, islamic state for at least 20 minutes. From what I saw and heard he did nothing but claim that Israel does not want peace and that the ceasefire is a wonderful victory for the Arab (read muslim) nations. He waxed on and on about the same subjects for the whole time I watched, every now and then the camera would show a large auditorium filled with an enthusiastic audience who seemed to clap on cue.

What I found interesting in a disturbing sort of way was that during the speech the BBC split the screen and showed on one side pictures of the destroyed buildings and celebrating people who I assume were muslims, all this while Assad spoke on the terrible war mongering Israelis.

The whole broadcast raised too many issues to go into here, but can you imagine the following scenarios?

The American or Israeli presidents being broadcast, unmediated, by the BBC for 20 minutes or more? During the same broadcast the BBC splitting the screen and showing war damage during talk of muslim aggression?

The BBC may as well merge with Al Jezeerah and accept that they are as one with the muslim community. It is a sick sorry suicidal treasonous organisation that needs to be sold / broken up / shut down or something along those lines. The ABC is not far behind it.

P.S. This is almost the worst result Israel could have got. This is really going to end in tears.

Interesting Quote

For me Professor C Northcote Parkinson has always provided a good mix of wisdom and common sense with a dash of humour.

"Where life is colorful and varied, religion can be austere or unimportant. Where life is appallingly monotonous, religion must be emotional, dramatic and intense. Without the curry, boiled rice can be very dull. C. Northcote Parkinson"

A better explanation why we must bomb Islam back to the Stone Age

I have been writing about what I feel is inevitable - the wholesale destruction of many muslim countries and societies. I don't like the idea but I believe it will happen sooner rather than later. This article I have linked to explains far better than I can many of the reasons why I think it will happen. The author is slightly more optimistic than me but I think that deep down he believes it is inevitable too.

I think they must be bombed back to the stone age.

British plot to explode planes bound for the US

I just heard the news re the plot to blow up planes flying from England to the US. The best description of the arrested men was 'English born Asians' talk about an exercise in obsfucation. Then there was an interview with the head of the police who repeatedly said that they had consulted community leaders before the arrests. What community? Wouldn't this be a rather stupid thing to do in such a serious situation? Surely there must be a chance that one or more of the 'community leaders' may alert their 'community' that arrests were about to take place? Seems extremely irresponsible to me.

The sooner the bombs start dropping on the spiritual home of these 'communities' the better.

The lights of Europe are going out again

Once again the lights are going out all over Europe.

Look at these sites, Sweden has given in.

Thanks to http://www.diogeneslamp.net/ for putting it up.

Can Europe remain Europe or is it too late? If it can be saved who are the likely candidates to do the saving? Does England have the will for another bloody long fight or is there too much enemy within? Germany could do it but it would be very messy, Denmark is just too small, the central states are possible but unlikely due to a lack of resources. This has to be done from within. The rest of the free world could only offer moral and logistical support. If not get ready to see most museums shut, art destroyed, women subjugated, alchohol banned and capital and corporeal punishment back on the books.

Funny how the left has always been on the side of monsters and this time (with the odd exception) things are no different.
