We don't have Prisoners in Victoria

I was talking with a friend who works as a prison officer at the womens prison here in Victoria. He told me that they are not allowed to call the prisoners 'prisoner' anymore. Apparently all anouncements have to be addressed to 'women' as in "Will all women muster at their doors". Apparently calling the women in prison prisoners can harm their self esteem.
