These were taken at the 'Grands Montets' one of THE places to ski. Over 2000m of vertical. Big long challenging runs. The only downside is that you have to pay 5 euros more each time you want to ride the tram behind me in this photo. One of the best days skiing I have ever had at a commercial skifield.

Hi Humour that was me, I was meant to be in Nepal but your snow came about four weeks late, nobody else could go so I ended up trying to heliski Greece but the weather was against us. So I ended up in Chamonix with a friend. My wife hates the cold weather and wouldn't go so I have to take her somewhere hot this year. It will bore me to tears but keep her happy. I liked your recent writing.
